Government Polytechnic College, Mananthavady was established in the year 2016 under the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Kerala. The institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to State Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Kerala.
The college is located in Dwaraka, a small town in Wayanad District. Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, Technical High School and Fashion Designing institute are neighboring educational institutions.
